Pe License Requirements State Summary What Are The Requirements To Obtain A PE (Professional Engineer) License In New York State?

What are the requirements to obtain a PE (Professional Engineer) License in New York state? - pe license requirements state summary

I have the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) examination and now I am looking forward to get my PE license in mechanical engineering. What are the requirements of the State of New York for that? For example, I would like to know the level of experience, how much should be less than someone with a degree in physical education, and any other information that you know.

  1. All this is information on its website (see link below), yes, all the states, I found a site for this purpose. If you set your physical education, a good idea to know going in this area, which is good.

    Good luck!

  2. The rules are all on the website of the PE NY. The basic requirements are:

    1. four years of experience.
    2. Recommendation of five public companies with a license
    3. Pass the FE exam
    4. the successful completion of the test EP

I earned my PE in New York, and then the review of FE in another state had been completed. That was no problem - I had to submit documents, but the FE exam in another state is acceptable.

He also in two other states of politeness is licensed. In both cases it was paid for simply completing the formalities and charges.

In each case, a certified academic record had to offer - in practice this meant that my university, their standard fee to pay, had to provide a list of qualifications.

They note that New York has a commitment to training - if you are registered in New York, you must stop 12 hours training per year to renew your license. And in New York, is the only continuing what was, a priori, by certifiedNew York State, and are very demanding, what is acceptable and what is not.
